Hi! I know I haven't posted anything in a while, but I was waiting for something exciting to happen. Well, it did! A couple of days ago, Taylor released a song for the soundtrack of the 2012 film The Hunger Games. It is called "Safe and Sound," and it is truly beautiful! I thought it was very in touch with the tone of the book, and it did great justice to Taylor's lovely voice. Check out the song and lyrics in the video below! :D

How the “Love Story” music video inspired Michelle Madow’s first novel, Remembrance

Thank you for having me on The Swift Follower to talk about my debut novel, Remembrance, which was inspired by the “Love Story” music video. I’m honored to be able to share this story, and my book, with others who love Taylor Swift as much as I do!

The “Love Story” music video premiered in the fall of 2009. The first time I watched it, I was entranced. Taylor sees a guy while walking through campus, and the moment their eyes connect, the scene flashes to the two of them dancing at a beautiful ball dressed in clothes that appear to be from around the year 1815. It’s magical to watch, and the video is so amazing that it gave me chills. I watched it over and over again, and a story started to piece together in my mind. A story about a girl reincarnated from Regency Era, England, who doesn’t realize it until her soulmate transfers into her school and triggers her memories to gradually return to her.

In that semester at school, I was taking a class called Intro to Creative Writing. One of our first big assignments in class was to write anything we wanted and bring it in to share with everyone. Since the characters and scenes that came to me while watching “Love Story” refused to leave my mind, I decided that for the project, I would write the first chapter of what I then called “The Story Inspired by ‘Love Story.’”

After completing the chapter, I stared at it for about an hour, worrying about what my classmates would think after reading it. I assumed everyone else would write about “normal” things—not reincarnation and seeing your soulmate from the past for the first time! What if they thought what I wrote was weird? I nearly erased it in favor of turning something else in, but then I remembered something Taylor had said:

"If you’re lucky enough to be different from everyone else, don't change."

I listened to her advice. Yes, what I wrote was going to be way different from what everyone else in class wrote, but I was okay with that. And after I read the chapter aloud to the class, I was amazed to find out that everyone in my class, including my teacher, loved it. Actually, they more than loved it—they wanted to read more!

But I had never written a novel before, and the idea of making the plunge and going for it intimidated me. What if I failed and couldn’t finish it? That worried me, but again, I remembered something Taylor had said:

"To me, fearless isn't not having fears; it's not that you're not afraid of anything. I think that being fearless is having a lot of fears, but you jump anyway."

So I jumped.

And now, two years after I saw the “Love Story” music video for the first time, my debut novel Remembrance is finally available for everyone to read. I’m so happy to be able to share it with you. I can only hope that if you choose to read it, you end up enjoying it as much as I loved writing it!

Taylor Swift: Every Day is a Fairytale

As I promised, I read the book Taylor Swift every day is a fairytale, by Liv Spencer. It is by far the most complete book about Taylor I have read in my life, and believe me, that is a lot to say. If you are a fan, have been beside her forever, or just want to know who she is, I completely recommend this book.

You always get information in pieces; one quote in one magazine, a line in a TV show, a small announcement in the news. But with Every day is a fairytale all those lose strings will tie together, to help understand how Taylor got where she is now. Everything you need to know about my favorite young star is there, organized in chronological order for everyone to keep up.

Not only is there information about Taylor herself, but the book presents background info about things that made Taylor reach her goals, like the story of country music in Nashville and things about her high school.

It's organized in 13 chapters (yay!), and the ones I like the most are 2 called "Swift Notes." Everything there is to know about each song in Taylor Swift and Fearless is there, like the real message, the person who they are about, and a decoder of the secret messages in the songs. I really enjoyed reading about the songs I have heard for so long, and even for a big fan like me, there were lots of surprises!

I would never had known so many things about the songs, videos, statistics and moments that made Taylor be who she is, and well, a very useful tool were all the pictures, many I had NEVER seen before. Not only the pictures helped, but also the great amount of quotes from Taylor herself and from magazines, her family, and friends. Every day is a fairytale didn't cut back in something else; comedy. Jokes here and there made it all the more interesting than it already is to learn all this stuff about Swifty. Every time there was something I had no idea about, I took notes in mi iPod and later looked at the videos, listened to the songs again, or searching for pictures, each time discovering new things!

At the end, to summarize and organize just so many things Taylor has gone through, from her development deal with recording company RCA in early 2004, all the way up to her achievements in 2010, is a timeline, month by month year by year laying out all the information. It was a great ending, and something I will surely use as an "encyclopedia" to find out anything I need to know!

Between all the great Taylor quotes was one that really caught my attention; something I had never heard her say but I think appropriately describes the success in Taylor's life:
"...Thank you for convincing me that fairytale endings... Well, they happen sometimes."

I just wanted all of you to know how much I enjoyed reading this book, because I hope many, many people have the same experience I did, especially those millions of fans that I know are out there dying to find out more. Well, I got the answer. Taylor Swift: Every Day is a Fairytale.

Hey! Sorry to everyone for not posting in such a long time, but I have two reasons for this. First, I'm in vacations, and second, it seems like Taylor's team and Taylor herself are too. There has not been any news about her for about a week, and her twitter account is also inactive ever since the 13-hour meet and greet. The only new thing I know about her is she was spotted in the Bahamas wearing a bikini. I think she deserves to have her vacations, but I promise when there is anthing new worth saying I will be there to report it! For now, follow Taylor's advice and enjoy your OWN vacation!! :D

Taylor Swift has BIG plans for this year’s CMA Music Festival -- she announced today that she is going to spend 13 hours meeting as many of her fans as possible!

Taylor will be hosting “Taylor Swift’s 13-Hour Meet & Greet” at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, in the heart of CMA Music Festival activities, on June 13th. The event will run from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Taylor will kick off the festivities at 8:00 a.m. that day, and will meet as many fans as possible over the course of the 13-hour event. The event will include a short acoustic performance that afternoon shortly after 2 p.m., and will also feature several different fan activities throughout the day. “Taylor Swift’s 13-Hour Meet & Greet” is open to the general public and admission is free.

“My favorite thing about CMA Music Festival has always been getting to spend time with the fans, so this year I wanted to figure out a way to meet as many of them as possible,” Taylor said. “Thirteen is my lucky number, and the 13th is during Music Festival, so I think spending 13 hours that day with my fans is going to be amazing!”
This will be Taylor’s only performance during the CMA Music Festival.

Recently, Taylor's friend Demi Lovato started dating Camp Rock 2 co-star Joe Jonas. After only 2 months of going out, Joe broke of with Demi. As you might remember, this same thing happened to Taylor about two years ago, and she had a hard passing that stage.

That is why, now, when one of her friend's is suffering through the same thing, she was there for her. Sources say that she texted Demi, saying that "everything happens for a reason, and it will only make her stronger. She told Demi if she ever needed anything, to just ask."

Sorry for not posting in so long, I've been very busy! There are lots of new stuff I have to talk to you about.

First, Taylor is going to recieve the Hal David Starlight Award at the 2010 Songwriters Hall of Fame Awards dinner on Thursday, June 17 at the New York Marriott Marquis Hotel. It is meant for artists who are makinga great impact on the music industry, like Taylor.

Next, Taylor will be a part of a new concert that helps with flood relief and recovery in Nashville, called Nashville Rising on June 22. You can buy tickets here, but I think they are over by now. Other artists will perform in this concert, like Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Martina McBride, Brooks & Dunn, Miley Cyrus and more. It sounds really interesting!

The next thing I want to say is that the second round of the CMT Music Awards started already, so don't forget to click here and vote. Taylor is up for about 5 awards, and she really needs your help! You can only vote once, so be sure to check your votes before submitting!

Great News!

First off, I just wanted to say that there is new information that kind of "confirms" that Taylor and Cory Monteith are going out. As you can see in the video above, when the Glee star was interviewed by Ellen DeGeneres, he wasn't very sure what to say. It on was very easy to believe that they are in fact going out, because he only said good things about her and he never exactly denied it. The only thing he said was that they were "just friends."

I personally would love it if they were going out, because I think they are both amazing people, but I'm not sure it is true. Both Taylor and Cory have many things in their schedule, and they have only been seen together once or twice.

The other news I have about Taylor is that she was recently inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. She "will be awarded the Hal David Starlight Award, which highlights young songwriters whom have made a large impact in the music industry writing and recording original songs (TaylorSwift.com)."

It will take place on Thursday, June 17 at the 2010 Songwriters Hall of Fame Awards Dinner at the New York City Marriott Marquis hotel. So for those who live near, don't miss it! Congrats again Taylor!

"Taylor Swift's Big Donation"

As stated by E!News Now, Taylor is donating big time to help a very important cause. Taylor had previously mentioned that we should keep Tennessee in our hearts, because a lot of places in Nashville suffered from flooding from the previous storm. Fortunately Taylor's house didn't suffer any damages, but Taylor still won't leave her home alone. She anounced Thursday that she will donate $500,000 dollars to help the victims of the flood.

She also appeared on TV in the flood relief fund during the Vince Gill and Friends telethon (CMT) asking for food relief donations in Nashville. She gave an example by donating the money. The flood killed 20 people in Nashville only, and 30 in other three states. Taylor said: "Nashville is my home and the reason why I get to do what I love. I honestly could not believe what was happening to the city and the people I love so dearly." A Little Bit About Everything

As you might have guessed already by the title, this post has no true topic. It is basically about everything that is going on in Taylor's life recently.

I want to start saying that as Taylor herself has stated via Twitter, Tennessee is suffering from a great flood, and it would be great if you would help support it.

Next, Taylor was named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by the Time Magazine. That is why she went to the Time 100 Gala at the Frederick P. Rose Hall at NYC’s Jazz at Lincoln Center this Tuesday. She was wearing a white dress from the Ralph Lauren collection, which her trademark red lipstick. The Gala was hosted by Vogue, and everyone looked like princesses.

Another thing that happened recently was that the official Taylor Swift comic book is being made. Taylor looks exactly as she does in real life, like you can see in the image above. It will have stories about her, and other things not yet revealed.

The last news I come to tell you today is that there is a rumor going on that says that Taylor, Selena Gomez, and Dakota Fanning are going to audition for the same part in a movie. "That's the opportunity (and problem) facing the people producing the upcoming flick The Seven Rays, an adaptation of the book of the same name. They're looking for someone to play a 17-year old girl who finds out that the lady she thought was her mother, actually is not. (DisneyStars)" I think it is a VERY difficult decision, and although I love Taylor and her acting skills, I think I would give the part to Selena. Or maybe, depending on the role, Dakota would be a more fitting actress.

Next Step: Covergirl

There is other news I really have to tell you about Taylor, but I have to tell the truth. I am not exactly that excited about it, not because it is not important, but because these types of things are just too common in the Taylor universe. And well, I guessed that if I already got a little bored with them then you might not care that much either. So I decided to tell you that news really fast first and then I will say the one I DO care about.

Here it goes. Taylor just finished shooting her first advertisements for Covergirl, and will represent a new line of luxury products for the brand. The ads are scheduled to debut in January 2011.

The second news, which I personally find a lot more fun, is that there is kind of an application in the Cyber-shot website where you can "take pictures" of Taylor. A window appears when you open the website and Taylor tells you to take pictures. You can take six pictures, of Taylor with three different dresses and three different (but very similar) backgrounds. All the time Taylor is moving and dancing through the window and you move the camera until you want to take the picture and click. The image is saved, and when you are done taking all of them it asks you for your name. If you click get autograph then the picture appears saying "I Heart (insert your name here). Love, Taylor."

I myself thought it was pretty cool, so you might as well go and try it yourself! BTW thanks to Taylor Alison Swift Fans for the information!

A Hug from Taylor Swift

I am pretty sure you still remember Michael and Ryan, the guys from A Hug from Taylor Swift. Well, their dream has finally come true. Last Monday, when the students at Auburn University were singing the karaoke of You Belong With Me, Taylor appeared in a video saying how she would really like to be there and how she liked that so much.

Then, very randomly, she says "I have an idea!" and walks in through the door with a shirt that reads "A Hug for Michael and Ryan". After they both got their hugs, Taylor announced that she would give them from row seats to any of her concert, and she announced her surprise. Taylor had brought her band with her! So thanks to Michael and Ryan, the whole Auburn University was able to get their own private concert. Taylor blogged "So we might have flown to Alabama for a surprise show today.. One of those unforgettable days. Thank you Auburn!"
It was very nice what she did, and I think it was pretty cool that she made these two boys' dream come true. I wish I would get a private concert from Taylor!

As you may already know by now, Taylor likes to post written, photo, and video blog. I personally like video blogs better. Lucky for me, she posted a new one! ... ... ... OK I finished watching it! It was amazing! At the beginning she plays basketball, which is my favorite sport, and then she just continues posting videos of what happened in her life since the last post. Seriously you should go watch it.

This is the commentary that came with the video:
"In this video, my prodigious athletic skills are showcased. Also, there is a Vegas wedding, baking a cake, Easter egg hunting, and one of my favorite parts of our 2-show stay at Staples Center. Song: She Band: Parachute (TaylorSwift.com)" So, you heard her! With all those amazing things in just one video, how can one NOT watch it? BTW, I just found out that the song was actually written for Liz, the girl who gets married in Taylor's video!

So, by now you might be asking yourself why you haven't seen the video yet, and might realize it is because I didn't put it! How come? Well, the very intelligent designers of the Taylor Swift website decided to put her videos in a page that is NOT YouTube, making it impossible for me to embed the video. If I somehow manage to illegally download and the upload the video to YouTube and then upload it, or at least to find it in some other source, I promise I will post it. Until then, I will have to give you only the link.

Taylor Will Appear in a Sony Commercial

I have to say I was really happy when I saw there was a new video about Taylor Swift. It had been a long time since the last time there was something important about Taylor, so that makes me really happy. It is probably because of Big Machine Records's desicion to keep Taylor in a low key until june, when they will promote her third album (yay!).

This new video is actually the behind the scenes of a commecial of SonyElectronics, in which Taylor will be featuring the Sony TX7 Cyber-shot camera, which will be out on Monday, April 26. In the video for the commercial, Taylor talks about Fearless, her next album, and "some of her favorite Sony TX7 features (TaylorSwift.com)."

Just FYI, some things about iSweep Panorama mode and the cameras: "Sony makes it easy to capture all your friends in one shot. Even if you have millions. Today, American Greetings anounced a concert ticket giveaways in 10 cities from the United States. One Less Challenge To Go!

Remember Michael and Ryan of Auburn, Alabama? They are the guys who own A Hug From Taylor Swift. Taylor has been making some challenges for them, and when they complete them, they will both hopefully receive a hug from Taylor. Well, they completed the first challenge a while ago, and yesterday, they completed the second one.

The second challenge was simple; it was to use the number thirteen in a creative way. I liked this challenge because it gave them a wide space to be creative and do whatever they want, and because thirteen is my lucky number! =)

Right now as I write this post I have to tell you that I haven't watched the response to the challenge yet, so I'm as excited as you probably are! Will Selena and Taylor Share Another Boyfriend?

First off, today is my birthday! I don't know if you noticed but it's the 13th today! That is part of why 13 is my lucky number also. I can't believe we were both born on a thirteenth! Ok so, back to reality.

Sorry I haven't posted in a while; there is not much different from what I said before, just the usual praises and good news about Taylor's growing career. Anyways, here is some news.

It is rumored, as I have said before, that Taylor and Cory Monteith, from the hit TV show Glee, were dating. Because Cory and Taylor's Disney friend Selena Gomez will make a movie together called Monte Carlo, acting as couple, they might "share boyfriend."

This would not be the first time something like this happens between the two, now that Selena dated Taylor Lautner in spring 2009, and some months later, while co-starring in the movie Valentine's Day, both Taylors had a confirmed relationship. I hope it doesn't interfere with their friendships, because they are both very special persons. So now that another boy is present and both girls might be into him, will they share boyfriend again? Something tells me they like the same type of boys!

Ok so, Im guessing you know what this post is for based on the title; Taylor is nominated for more awards! This time they are from the awards of Country Music Television (CMT). She was nomminated for three awards, including "You Belong With Me", nominated for Video of the Year and Female Video of the Year, and Taylor's duet with Kellie Pickler, "Best Days of Your Life", nominated for Collaboration Video of the Year! So what are you waiting for! Help Taylor by voting every day! VOTE NOW!

Apart from that, Taylor made $17.2 Million Dollars last year! She will be appearing in the cover of tomorrow's edition of Parade Magazine for the annual "What People Earn" salary report. She is only 20, and she is already making more than $17 million per year. Taylor and the other "18 celebrities featured in this year's issue made 450 times more money than the "regular" people profiled (WSMV)." So everything is going really good for this star lately.

Something else was that Rachel, the millionth fan to come to this tour, and who had come to her third concert now, was surprised by the team and taken backstage to meet Taylor. Just some days ago Taylor won 2 Kids Choice Awards, and she is already nominated for another award. The pre-nominations for the MTV Awards 2010 are available already, and Taylor is nominated with Taylor Lautner for Best Kiss in Valentine's Day.

On May 11, some of the nominees will be disqualified, and the rest will be left to compete for the final trophy. The show will air on Sunday, June 6 at 9p.m. ET/8p.m. from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California. OK so back to work, NARM, the music business association, said that it will "honor Taylor Swift, Big Machine Records, with our Artist of the Year Award during the Awards Dinner Finale at the 2010 Convention (NARM)" Taylor had played in 2007 on the NARM stage in the U MGD Production Presentation in Chicago. She might join the list of artists who really become stars after appearing on the show, "including Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, N’Sync, and Josh Groban, among others (BussinessWire)."

In 2009, she became the youngest singer to even win both the Entertainer of the year CMA award and the GRAMMY Award for Album of the Year. In fact, she was the first female solo Country singer to win that award. Taylor has had lots of luck with her Fearless album, as it is 6 times platinum, but now she can celebrate her luck, because it was named the most awarded album in Country Music history.

Taylor attended a private dinner yesterday in Nashville, where she finds out the exciting news.

Fearless has been the only album to win the Album of the Year and the Country Album of the Year Awards in the Grammys, the Country Music Association, The Academy of Country Music and the American Music Awards. In the private dinner, representatives from NARAS, The American Music Awards, The Country Music Association, and the Academy of Country Music along Scott Borchetta, Big Machine Records president joined to present as group and honoring to Taylor for all she has achieved.

There is a new TV show called GAC Superstar Sessions, from Great American Country where fans can vote online in polls about their favorite celebrities, generally about their videos. Brooks and Dunn Tribute Concert

I recently found out that Taylor, alongside country superstars Jennifer Hudson, Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley, George Strait, Sugarland, Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban, (ET Online) will be performing in a tribute concert to support the duo Brooks and Dunn, who will be splitting up after their anticipated tour, "The Last Rodeo".

These singers will perform on April 19, 2010 in the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, the day after the 45th Country Music Awards. It will be presented by the Academy of Country Music (ACM). It will officially air on May 23, 2010 at 7 p.m. on CBS.

They will all do the concert to pay tribute to the band, who will be stopping and splitting up completely after their tour. Brooks and Dunn "will receive the Academy's Milestone Award for holding the record for the most wins of any artist in the Academy's history with 26 awards in total, including three Entertainer of the Year awards. (ACM)"

Also, they will be awarded for having the record for "most Top Vocal Duo wins, with 15 awards, eight of which are consecutive from 2000-2007. (ACM)" They have had 23 #1 hit singles, and they sold more than 30 million copies of their albums. Brooks and Dunn won more than 80 awards of the ACM throughout their singing career.

As said Bob Romeo, Executive Director of the Academy of Country Music, "Brooks & Dunn have defined country music for twenty years. Taylor dating Cory?

Some months ago, we received the news that Taylor and Cory Monteith, from Glee, might be secretly dating. As time went by and no one else said anything about it, we all thought it was just mere gossip.

Anyways, I was searching Taylor news to post you in when I saw something that caught my eye: more and more sources confirm the romance! And even MTV, which I would say is a reliable source, has admitted it.

It seems like they are doing a really good job at hiding the relationship; Taylor is "actually pretending not to be interested in Cory so her mother doesn't scare him off!" says MTV.

The first time they were seen together was in the Grammy's, and it seems as if they are serious. Maybe they are hiding, but I think they would make a really cute couple, and so does my friend. =)

Even if she doesn't want to tell her mother, Andrea Swift, some sources says she is telling her friends "she sees 'real romantic possibilities' with him.”

The problem is, when Taylor was asked who she thinks is the hottest boy in the world 3 days ago, she said: “Um, well ... Taylor Lautner.”

I guess Cory has a strong competition doesn't he?? =)

Fearless Tour 2010 Going Great

First off I just wanted to say that from today on a new iPhone app is available called Taylor Swift free on iTunes, which looks great! It has notifications when new music, videos, pictures, or updates appear. It has all her videos; you can download music and photos... It looks great. I personally don't have an iPhone, but if I had one, I would totally download it!

Next, I wanted to report that Taylor started the second part of her Fearless tour this weekend, and it is going great! The crowd loved her on Saturday in Tampa, Orlando, and Ft. Lauderdale/Sunrise. Those performances both sold out in one minute. As Taylor Swift Official website says, "Taylor plays seven different instruments over the course of the two-hour show," she has "three acts and eight costume changes." She is visiting "31 cities in 25 states and provinces in the US and Canada" for the next 3 months. As we already know, she also played in eight sold-out shows in Australia and Japan.

To show that fans are not the only people with a good opinion on superstar Taylor Swift, I leave you with the critics' critics (or praise, in Taylor's case =)):

This year, Taylor will be the cover girl for the April issue of Elle Magazine. It will be out in the United States in March 6.

In the issue, she answers this:

On who she thinks is hot: “Um, well…Taylor Lautner.”

On whether she’s really “fearless”: “I overthink everything. I overanalyze everything.”

On one of her biggest fears: “Me making a bunch of bad decisions and embarking on a painful, slow, devastating tailspin.”

Taylor Gets Five ACM Award Nominations

Taylor Swift was in her house in Hendersonville, Tennessee this morning when she heard she had earned 5 Academy of Country Music (ACM) award nominations. Last year, Taylor won four awards, including the most important one, Entertainer of the Year. She became the youngest artist in the 43-year history of the Country Music Association to be awarded country music’s top prize when she won the CMA Award for Entertainer of the Year.

She is nominated for Entertainer, Top Female Vocalist of the Year, Song of the Year for You Belong With Me, – nominated as artist and songwriter, and Video of the Year for You Belong With Me.

The awards will happen on Sunday, April 18 at 8:00 p.m.

Love Story goes 4 times Platinum!

As said by Official Wire, Taylor's single Love Story became four times platinum, which means that it has been sold more than 4,000,000 times in the United States.

The song love story appeared in her album Fearless, and is about forbidden love. It is actually Romeo and Juliet with a happy spin in the end, which says that they married with her father's permission. Love Story has been a song that has appealed to critics as well as fans all over the world.

Apart from being certified four times platinum, Love Story is also now the most paid and downloaded country song in music history. It has been a song that created profit since the first time it came out. It was released as a debut single in Fearless, Taylor's sophomore album, in 2008. It is also one of the best selling songs in the United States on iTunes.

It is also very popular internationally, as it was the first song to be in the Top 10 in iTunes from the United Kingdom since Shania Twain with her single Party for Two in 2004.

It has also had a great impact in Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Venezuela, and obviously, Colombia. Taylor was one of the best in the Top RIAA Certifications with 25.

Give it up for Mike Hammond!

Yesterday, February 23, manager Mike Hammond from WIVK-FM Operations was inducted into the Country Music DJ and Radio Hall of Fame.

What no one knew was that country superstar Taylor Swift was going to have the honor of inducting him into this hall of fame.

Taylor gave a 6 minute speech talking about how she had met Mike, and how he had given her the opportunity to play in his show when she was only fifteen. She gave a very inspiring speech, and very funny at times. Taylor always gives this sort of cute impression when she talks. It must be her beautiful personality!

"Looking stunning in a short black cocktail dress, Taylor took the stage to welcome Mike Hammond from WIVK in Knoxville, Tenn., to the DJ and Radio Hall of Fame. Commenting that she had been to Kinkos earlier in the day, Taylor surprised Mike with a nearly life size poster of a photo she had taken with him during her first visit to WIVK.

“I think in life the way you look at things is largely based on your first impression. My first impression of country radio came in 2005 when I walked into WIVK in Knoxville,” Taylor told the crowd. “That was the day that I met Mike Hammond for the first time and it’s my memories of that day that make me so incredibly happy and honored to be the one up here inducting him into the Country Radio Hall of Fame.”

In a lengthy and heartfelt speech, Taylor recounted the veteran broadcaster’s career accomplishments and spoke warmly of his family, calling each member by name. She recalled her first visit to the station and how he had put a then unknown, high school sophomore on the air. “I was just floored because I wasn’t expecting to get put on the radio. I talked about it for weeks after that and I’m still taking about it now.

“I’ve thought about it a lot over the years: Why Mike would put me on the air? This kid who had never been on the radio before,” Taylor continued. “I think it was because Mike started in radio when he was 15 years old. Back then someone gave him a chance and so he gave one to me.”

Taylor mentioned that she had recently talked to Kenny Chesney about Mike and he too had fond memories. “Kenny told me that his favorite thing about Mike Hammond is that he’s ‘made extraordinary things happen to an ordinary person from East Tennessee’ and he wanted me to tell Mike that tonight.”"

Just this morning Taylor posted a new photo blog with her pictures from Japan and Australia! She wrote some detailed opinions on each photograph, and she explained it all!

There are pictures pf the background, of herself, of the tour, of her friends... As she said on Twitter, "I've been up since 5!"

There is nothing much to say really, only that if her singing/acting/modeling career goes wrong, she could become a professional photographer!

It All Comes Down to Love

“Valentine's Day. It comes every year whether you like it or not. It's the day when your love life is put on display. Where there is always a chance for romance... or disaster. It could be confusing, it could be complicated, but at the end of the day, it's all about love. (Valentine’s Day 2010)”

With this very line we are finally introduced to Valentine's Day; the 2010 movie that broke hearts, opened hope, and made more than one have a memorable day - one of those being me. For some, this movie was bad news, for others, it was something to talk about for months. What? You don't know where you stand in this debate? Well, that's what I'm here for.

The first thing you have to know in order to understand my review, is that I am a Taylor Swift fan. An obsessive, weird, enjoy-anything-as-long-as-she-is-in-it-no-matter-how-bad Taylor Swift fan. Well, you might have inferred by now that Taylor was part of the cast of Valentine's Day. She didn't get a big role in it, but it was enough to make me wait eagerly for its release.

At the beginning, I was scared the movie wasn’t going to be that good, because I hadn’t really enjoyed it yet. It started with a clip from the trailer, so it didn't get lots of attention from me. Then, as soon as Taylor appeared for the first time (I'm a little biased here as you can see), the movie started getting better and better. Something I did not enjoy was the fact that all the characters had the exact same problem; they all were in love with someone who loved someone else, thinking they loved them back. Then, as I realized it all happened so that they could end up together, I loved it.

There were good jokes, good actors, and fluffy scenes. It was romantic but not over the top. Sometimes it was a little difficult to keep up with because of the excess stories (and the fact that I had to go to the bathroom twice), but all the stories were fun and they all managed to fit in together really well.

Even if for me it was one of the best movies out there, most reviewers didn't have many good things to say. They said it had too many good actors, so that there wasn't enough time to see any of them perform as much as we would like them to. Anyways, I think I know the reason why. It was not meant for them. The movie was made for teenagers falling in love who only care about seeing their favorite actors and actresses kiss. It wasn’t written for grown-up men who spend their lives judging movies and it definitely wasn’t made for people who care if the scenery was good or if the script was professional and well written. It was more than predictable that these men wouldn’t like it, so there is no reason for developing your opinion based on theirs.

As far as Taylor goes, I do admit she isn't the greatest actress out there, but I think she is really talented. Her scenes weren't that difficult to act because her character was a dumb, uncoordinated, and in-love teenager, which comes naturally for us girls.Some say it looked like she was trying too hard and that it didn't seem natural, but I think it was just part of her role to seem lost. I think she had a special chemistry with her character's boyfriend Willy, played by Taylor Lautner.

So basically, from my Taylor fan perspective, the movie was awesome. I recommend it to everyone who is into chick flicks, romance movies, or who wants to spend a good evening laughing at jokes, crying over break-ups, or just hoping that they will someday find love too.

We had been waiting for the video of this single, Fearless, to come out for a LONG time. I don't know you, but at least I was!

Well, finally, here it is! You can't imagine my happiness when I was looking for some new Taylor gossip and I saw it, bright in the middle of the darkness, the awesome sign that said “Fearless” Music Video!

I'm sure it's an official video, because it came out on the Country Music web page, CMT. If you want, you can watch it there clicking here.

Honestly, I thought it was going to be a better video, as I found out it's not in the best quality possible and it is composed of many clips from her tours, but it's still an awesome video, from my fanatic point of view!!

Valentine Fail?

The movie that contained Taylor's acting debut, Valentine's Day, just came out on Friday, but it seems like no one really liked it. I haven't watched the movie myself, but I'm planning to watch it sometime this week. For now, all we have are the reviews.

The majority of the movie reviewers have the same opinion about it: too many actors, too little fun. Valentine's day was crouded with famous faces, including Jessica Alba, Kathy Bates, Jessica Biel, Bradley Cooper, Patrick Dempsey, Jamie Foxx, Jeniffer Garner, Anne Hathaway, Ashton Kutcher, Queen Latifah, Taylor Lautner, and of course, Taylor Swift. Still, many people say this movie was terrible. It didn't make anyone laugh, it was way too predictable, and it just didn't have any point to it.

According to News Blaze, "this relatively-dreadful endeavor fails miserably in its attempt to generate the same sort of magic." USA Today said "Valentine's Day has all the awkward tedium of a bad first date, without the promise or excitement of a good one."

Mostly everything these people had to say was that this movie was a vague attemp of Love Actually , but failed.

Still, there are some reviewers who say it's good, and the majority of teenagers, which where who the movie was aimed for, say they liked it. Seems like most teens don't care if the movie does or doesn't have a point, as long as they get to see their favorite stars. Also, the movie sold a lot in its first weekend.

As said by Reuters, "...[Valentine's Day] wooed moviegoers to the tune of $52.4 million by Sunday on a long holiday weekend in the United States." And "is expected to claim the weekend's box-office crown with $45 million or more in domestic receipts."

If it was that bad, then why did so many people turn out to see it?? Well, I guess I'll have to go watch it and find out.

Valentine's Day Preview

As you may already know, Taylor Swift has a small role in the new movie Valentine's Day, coming to theaters in the United States on February 12. Some fans (like me) might be dissapointed, because apparently her role is really small, she has 4 scenes only, in which two of them are shorter than a minute. Still, it's a really good opportunity for her, and the soundtrack of the movie includes her newest song, Today was a fairytale.

Taylor really does a great job at showing us her artistic abilities in these short clips. Although we had already seen her act in person at Saturday Night Live, in this movie we can really see her "inner geek", as CMT News said.

We really do expect to see a lot of Taylor in this movie, and from the clip I added below, we can see that it will most probably not dissapoint us. Taylor is a very talented young girl, as she isn't only a composer and a singer, but as we newly found out, she is also an actress, and a very good one!!

By the way something you might not have noticed: Taylor Lautner's character in the movie is the player number 13, and the news interviewer guy in the movie has a microphone with the number 13 on it, which is actually Swift's real lucky number!

Taylor is making a third album!

Most singers fear being swept down from the spotlight. Instead, Taylor is afraid of being "overexposed". Scott Borchetta, who runs Taylor's label, Big Machine Records, said that they planned the Australian tour exactly for the purpose of taking Taylor out of the continent for a while, so that people don't hear too much about her and get fed up. He added that they were going to hide Taylor for a while, at least until April, when she will probably perform at the Academy of Country Music Awards.

He said that until that time, "we're going to have a new video, but as far as the talking head of Taylor Swift, that one's gone into hiding for a little bit, at least on this continent."

We are all very excited, because in the mean time, Taylor will be putting together her third album, which she already wrote. She has been writting a lot these past months, and if she writes some other good song soon, they will also include it in the album. They will first realease a single in the summer or fall, and then the whole album will follow a little later in the year.

Something else that Taylor has to worry about is critics, but with her amazong voice, she has nothing to worry about!!

Taylor Alison Swift was born on December 13, 1989, in Pennsylvania, but she grew up in a Christmas tree farm in Tennessee. She is a song writer, singer, and actress, and she has become very successful. Since the age of 11, when a computer technician taught her to play the guitar, Taylor has been obsessed with music. She used every opportunity she had to sing; she sang every week on karaoke and in school activities. She wanted to have a record deal, so she made a CD with herself singing the karaoke of other songs. She left them in every record dealer she could find, but they never called her back. She pressured her parents until the whole family moved to Nashville, were a record deal called Big Machine Records saw her singing and liked her voice one day. Up until now, Taylor has continued working with the same record deal. She made her first CD, which was self titled, and since that moment on, Taylor’s life as a celebrity has just kept on improving. She released her second album, Fearless, and the Fearless Platinum Edition, and people all over the world buy her songs every day. She is also currently working on movies like Valentine’s Day, and she has acted in shows like CSI. She has had a rather difficult love life, but they are just more and more reasons to continue writing the love songs that have been such a great hit around the world. Last thing we knew, Taylor won four Grammy’s, including the most precious, Album of the year for Fearless.
Taylor is loved by millions of teens and adults around the globe, and we all know her life will just continue being better and better every day.
